NWACUHO Annual Conference

2008 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

February 24 - 26, 2008 -- Vancouver, Washington

WELCOME

Greetings!

On behalf of the Northwest Association of College and University Housing Officers, I want to welcome you to the 2008 NWACUHO Conference Site! We are excited to be hosting this year’s event and look forward to providing a valuable and fun-filled professional development experience in the Portland-Vancouver Metropolitan Area. Our theme, “Bridging Communities, Defining Our Future” is descriptive of both the work we collectively engage in as a profession as well as the rivers and bridges that are hallmark of the Pacific Northwest.

Plan to join us February 24-26, 2008 at the Red Lion Hotel at the Quay in Vancouver, Washington!

Sincerely,

Dan Larson
President and Conference Chair

CONFERENCE SUSTAINABILITY

As an association NWACUHO is hoping to make the 2008 Annual Conference as green as possible.  NWACUHO believes that environmental stewardship and the reduction of our negative impact is an important part of our region’s values, as well as our role as members of the higher education community.  Housing professionals have enormous potential to make an impact on the future of sustainability within our profession; whether its by our own personal choices, on the campuses where we work or live or as a regional association.  Please join us in doing our part to make our conference as green as possible.
